Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) import restrictions: Bosnia and Herzegovina

Following an outbreak of HPAI in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the following restrictions now apply to imports of the following products from Bosnia and Herzegovina from 25 February 2026: 

 

  • Imports of poultry meat are suspended.   

  • Meat products of poultry must be heat-treated to 70°C throughout the meat (heat treatment ‘D’).
