Ban on the Import of Iron and Steel of Russian Origin

As of September 30th, 2023, the UK will prohibit the import of iron and steel of Russian origin that has been processed in third countries as part of wider trade sanctions against Russia.


The UK Government has released guidance to help businesses understand the scope of the ban and the documentation required to demonstrate the origin of goods.
